GOP choices for Governor down to 3 - Folwell, Robinson, and Graham
by John Steed for the Beaufort Observer
Folwell has a long conservative record of getting things done, first as a solidly conservative member of the NC House, and Speaker Pro Tem, then as Chairman of the NC Employment Security Commission where he got that agency out of a staggering debt to the federal government with some aggressive policy changes, and more recently as our State Treasurer. As Treasurer, Folwell has a record of fearlessly taking on the special interests to get a better deal for citizens. As Treasurer, Folwell has a seat on the State Board of Education, where he has actively opposed wokeness in our schools. As a member of the Council of State, Folwell opposed Governor Cooper’s lockdown executive orders.

OPINION: From the Colonial Capital. The North Carolina Gubernatorial Final Four
by Brandon Spiece for The Sun Journal
“
Folwell brings experience, knowledge, and a track record of solving big problems in every position that he has held. In the end, although Robinson has the ability to rally a crowd, Republicans could decide that a demonstrated track record of solving big problems for all North Carolinians is more important than the charisma and rhetoric offered by Robinson.

For America’s Political Adults, Look Outside Washington
by Ray Nothstine and Dustin Siggins for Governing
Dale Folwell is one of three state-level elected officials (nationwide)— genuine political adults — whose time in office has demonstrated three positive characteristics of good governance:
Understanding the importance of the office they hold.
Respecting the laws and traditions that limit their power.
Putting power in the hands of the people.
