Thank you to the many supporters who attended my first fundraising event in Raleigh last night. We were even joined via teleconference by presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamey, someone I’ve worked with for the past 3 years on ESG issues.
As Vivek himself shared with us, “Dale and I know each other through the world of taking on the ESG industrial complex. But even that trick only works if you have a culture that’s willing to buy up what they’re selling. And as odd as this might sound, I think that’s actually our opportunity in the conservative movement to now say, ‘You know what, we’re stepping up, we’re gonna fill that void with our own vision, we’re not just running from something something anymore, that this is our moment to start running to something’.”
As governor, I will run towards problems with common sense solutions. Thanks to those of you who expressed your support through contributions and to our hosts for an outstanding evening of elevated conversation.
